From the crystal-clear brooks of our highest mountain peaks to the turbulent breakers along our sandy beaches, fishing is a rewarding way to encounter North Carolina's magnificent outdoors. Join a Crowders Mountain Ranger and wet a hook in Kings Mountain’s own beautiful Moss Lake and learn why fishing is such a rewarding outdoor activity.

Outdoor lovers of all ages are welcome. Fishing tackle, poles, and bait will be provided.

Those 16 and older need a valid freshwater NC Fishing License to fish. Please remember purchase your fishing license before June 9th.

We will be giving away 2 adult and 3 children’s fishing poles with tackle. You must be present to participate in the drawing.

This program will meet at Moss Lake Lakeside Gazebo, 2621 Oak Grove Rd., Shelby NC 28150

By registering for this program I generally and specifically indemnify, defend, release, and hold harmless City of Kings Mountain, Mauney Memorial Library, and all program personnel from and against all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, civil or administrative proceedings, costs, or expenses including attorney fees related to attending this program.
